AIMExpo presented by Nationwide will have all sorts of things to get excited about. The motorcycling event in Columbus, Ohio, will take over the city’s convention center and showcase all kinds of bikes, motorcycle gear, technology, and powersports-related topics. One of the things that will be at the show that’s pretty awesome is an indoor flat track on Saturday, September 28th, according to a recent press release posted to Motorcycle.com.
The flat track racing event is called Sideways Saturday and will have several different classes of races. Here’s a look at the breakdown:
- Hooligans
- Flat Track Futures (kids 11-14)
- Run What Ya Brung
- e-bike
- Industry Class
Rick Ricart, President, AD Farrow Harley Davidson, seemed particularly happy with the addition of flat track racing to AIMExpo. He said the following:
Sideways Saturday is a great event for Central Ohio. The fastest growing sport in the country is coming to Columbus. It’s a fun and exciting indoor flat track motorcycle race that brings families together as spectators or participants.
You’ll need to purchase special tickets for the flat track racing that cost $15. You can do that here. I would assume you’ll also be able to get tickets for the racing at the show for a slight upcharge.
